Romantic Manali, Shimla & Kasol Getaway for Couples (6N/7D)
Overview
This romantic Himachal getaway links three very different hill escapes in one week: colonial Shimla, the snow valleys around Manali and the riverside village of Kasol in the Parvati Valley. Your driver will pick you up in Delhi and the journey starts with the drive up to Shimla, a day at Kufri and the Himalayan Nature Park and then an evening on Mall Road (Christ Church, Scandal Point and the Gaiety Theatre all along the Ridge).
Day three crosses into the Kullu Valley past Sundernagar Lake and the Pandoh Dam, with optional river rafting near Kullu. Three nights in Manali give you time for the Hadimba and Vashisht temples, Van Vihar, the Tibetan monasteries and a full day at Solang Valley. The final night is spent in a camp by the Parvati River at Kasol following a visit to the Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and its hot springs.
The itinerary is ideal for couples and honeymooners who want to spend time together as much as they want to see the sights. Evenings are left free for Mall Road walks and café dinners, you travel by private vehicle throughout, and you stay on double occupancy with breakfast every morning – in 3-star hotels in Shimla and Manali and a riverside camp in Kasol.

FAQ's
Is this Himachal tour suitable for a honeymoon?
Yes. It's for couples (in a private vehicle), with double occupancy rooms, free evenings in Shimla and Manali and a riverside camp night in Kasol. If you'd like a room upgrade, a candlelit dinner or flower decoration then just ask us and we'll add those on to your quote at an additional cost.
What is the best time for a Shimla, Manali and Kasol trip?
March to June is pleasant in all three locations and ideal for Solang Valley activities and rafting in the Kullu area. Kufri and Solang see snow in December and January though it's quite cold at night (particularly at the Kasol camp). July to September is monsoon and the mountain roads are prone to landslides so you'll need to be flexible.
How long are the drives on this tour?
Delhi to Shimla is 350km (7-8 hours), Shimla to Manali is 250km (a full day with stops at Sundernagar and Pandoh), Manali to Kasol is a fairly short transfer and the final leg from Kasol back to Delhi will take most of a day so you'll need to plan your onward travel for either late night or the following day.
Are rafting and Solang Valley activities included?
No. River rafting on the Beas near Kullu and the Solang Valley activities – parachuting, paragliding, skating, zorbing and skiing – are at your own expense. They depend on the season and weather, and you can book them on the spot or ask us to arrange them in advance.
Where do we stay in Kasol?
Your night in Kasol is spent in a camp beside the Parvati River, on double occupancy with breakfast. The other 5 nights are in 3 star hotels (2 in Shimla, 3 in Manali). Take a warm layer as the riverside nights in the valley can be quite cool even in summer.
Can we change the route or add nights?
Yes you can add a night in Manali or Kasol, upgrade your hotels or change the order of the sightseeing days. Just let us know your travel dates and preferences and we'll send you back a revised itinerary and quotation with the new price.
