Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to take this 7-day Goa tour?
October to May is the ideal window as the boat trips and jeep access to Dudhsagar Falls generally cease during the monsoon (June to September). November to February brings the calmest seas for snorkelling and the most comfortable weather for sightseeing.
What happens on the Grand Island trip?
You board a boat for Grand Island (Ilha Grande), which can be reached only by sea. The day trip includes snorkelling and fishing, dolphin watching en route, views of Aguada Fort and a number of other coastal features. A beachside lunch is served on the trip and is paid separately unless your quotation includes it.
Do I need to know how to swim to snorkel?
Basic swimming is helpful but not essential as the snorkellers will be wearing lifejackets and will be staying right close to the boat. If you'd rather stay dry, then you can of course just enjoy the boat ride, the coast and the dolphin spotting from the deck.
Are water sports like parasailing included?
No. The package does include snorkelling on the Grand Island trip. Parasailing, jet-skiing and banana rides are not included. We can add on a water sports session at Calangute on your free day, or you can go for our other 7-day Goa package which has a water sports day as part of it.
Can I customise the hotel or add more nights?
Yes, you can upgrade to a 4-star hotel or beach resort, add on nights or swap the free day for a visit to a spice plantation or additional sightseeing. Just let us know your travel dates and number of travellers, and we'll send you a revised quotation.
