7 Days Goa Tour Package – Beaches, Dudhsagar Falls & Grand Island

7 Days / 6 Nights

Overview

This 7-day Goa tour package brings together the state's most famous experiences in one week: the beaches and forts of the north, colonial Panjim and the churches of Old Goa, Dudhsagar Falls in the Western Ghats, a boat trip to Grand Island and a water sports session at Calangute. It kicks off on the Mandovi river with a one-hour sunset cruise, featuring Goan folk music and dance.

Day 2: Aguada Fort, Calangute, Baga and Candolim. Day 3: Dona Paula, Miramar, Panjim, the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Shantadurga Temple. Day 4: Dudhsagar Falls, the four-tiered 'Sea of Milk' on the Goa-Karnataka border and the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary around it. Day 5: At sea on the Grand Island (Ilha Grande) trip with snorkelling, fishing and a good chance of seeing dolphins. Day 6: Kayaking, windsurfing, jet-skiing, parasailing or banana rides at Calangute and the rest of the day is free.

You stay six nights in a 3-star hotel (with daily breakfast), travel by private vehicle and are picked up and dropped off at either the Goa airport or railway station. Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to take this 7-day Goa package?

Plan between October and May. Water sports, the Grand Island boat trips and jeep access to Dudhsagar Falls all come to a stop during the monsoon (June to September). November to February is the period of calm seas and good weather and is ideal for all the activities on this trip.

Which water sports are included at Calangute?

Day 6 is a two-hour water sports session at Calangute Beach (kayaking, windsurfing, jet-skiing, parasailing, banana rides, etc). The exact combination of activities will of course vary depending on the sea conditions and the operator on the day, and of course any additional rides beyond the session are charged separately.

How is this different from your other 7-day Goa package?

Both packages include the Mandovi cruise, North Goa and Old Goa sightseeing, Dudhsagar Falls and the Grand Island trip. One of them includes a water sports session at Calangute on day 6, and the other has day 6 free for markets and an optional Ayurvedic spa session.

Is this trip suitable for children?

Yes, for most families. The sightseeing days and the river cruise are suitable for all ages. For the water sports and snorkelling, the operators have their own age and safety restrictions, so young children may not be able to do all the activities. Let us know their ages, and we'll plan accordingly.

Can I change the hotel or add nights?

Yes, you can upgrade to a 4-star hotel or beach resort, add on nights, or swap a day for a visit to a spice plantation or some time on the quieter beaches of South Goa. Just let us know your dates, and we'll send you a revised quotation.
